Can I use the perfume oil in a spray bottle? Will it clog?
Perfume oils can be packaged in spray bottles, but be aware of the following two things to avoid clogging issues:
✅ 1. Use a special spray pump head
Perfume oils are thicker and not suitable for regular perfume spray nozzles (designed for low viscosity alcohol liquids). It is recommended to use:
- Oil Spray Pump (Oil Spray Pump)
- Or higher mist volume nozzles (such as 0.12ml or more), which can atomize oily liquids without clogging.
✅ 2. Material and structure should match
Choose glass bottle body + metal pump head is more oil-resistant and not easy to corrode, the internal material of the spray nozzle is preferably PP or PE, to avoid softening the material due to fragrance oil ingredients.
Can I use the perfume oil in a spray bottle? Will it clog?
Whether a perfume oil spray bottle is resistant to oil and will deteriorate depends mainly on the type of material chosen. Different materials vary greatly in their resistance to oily liquids:
✅ Recommended material (good oil resistance):
- Glass: excellent oil resistance and chemical stability, will not deteriorate or adsorb fragrance. It is the preferred material for perfume oil packaging, especially suitable for Middle East Attar or natural essential oil products.
- Aluminum + Glass Inner Tube (Aluminum + Glass Inner Tube): High-grade appearance, the inner tube ensures that the oil does not come into contact with metal, and the outer shell provides protection and shading.
- PETG (Highly Transparent Polyester): more resistant to oil than ordinary plastic, suitable for short-term use or low-end product packaging.
⚠️ is not a recommended material:
- PVC or PS plastic: easily corroded, discolored and softened by fragrance oils, may leak or release harmful substances in long-term use.
- Low-quality ABS: may adsorb the aroma of fragrance oil, affecting the subsequent refilling use.
Will the spray be too thick or too thin?
Mist output can be customized. For example, 0.10ml ~ 0.20ml, some customers like to “spray less but lasting”.
Does it have a leak-proof design? Is it suitable for traveling?
